Yituo's main molds are divided into five core categories according to stamping processes, covering the stamping production needs of the entire industry:
(I) Multi-station progressive dies
Progressive dies are the company's main product category. Corresponding to the long, integrated multi-station die shown in the image, dozens of process stations are arranged along the feeding direction on a single die set. The steel strip is continuously fed, completing the entire process of blanking, punching, bending, stretching, shaping, and cutting in one go. Precision small-part progressive dies: Used for appliance clips, electronic terminals, daily hardware gaskets, and wire harness mounting bases. Features a compact workstation, ball-guided structure, and dimensional tolerance control of ±0.02mm. Compatible with high-speed servo presses, capable of 60-120 stamping cycles per minute.
Medium-to-large structural component progressive dies: Real-life examples of long, heavy-duty progressive dies, primarily used for automotive chassis brackets, engineering machinery sheet metal supports, and new energy battery pack fasteners. The die base is made of thickened cast steel, and key forming inserts are made of high-quality SKD11 and Cr12MoV die steel. Suitable for continuous stamping of high-strength steel and pickled plates.
Thick plate progressive forming dies: Developed for 3-6mm thick steel plates, featuring added limit and pressure-bearing pad structures. Capable of bending and partial upsetting of thick materials, solving the problems of deformation and chipping during thick material stamping.
(II) Single-Operation Simple Stamping Dies
Single-operation dies complete only one processing step in a single stamping operation. They are divided into four categories: blanking dies, punching dies, bending dies, and trimming dies. They are simple in structure, low in cost, and easy to modify, making them suitable for small-batch sampling and multi-specification scattered orders. Single-operation dies are preferred for small-batch production, significantly reducing initial mold development investment. They are the preferred die type for new product testing and are compatible with various small and medium-sized general-purpose stamping presses.
(III) Composite Stamping Dies
A single die set completes blanking + punching, blanking + drawing, or blanking + bending (two or more processes) simultaneously in a single die closing operation. The precision is superior to single-operation dies, and the production efficiency is higher than multi-processing. They are often used for flange gaskets, disc hardware, and small housing parts. The dies adopt an inverted/upright composite structure with a modular design for the ejection and unloading systems, suitable for medium-batch production of small and medium-sized sheet metal parts. They are widely used in kitchenware hardware and electrical accessory processing.
(IV) Specialized Dies for Stretching/Forming
Customized for shells, cylindrical parts, and irregularly shaped concave and convex parts, including shallow drawing dies, deep drawing dies, bending dies, bulging dies, and flanging dies. Addressing the tendency of stainless steel and aluminum sheets to tear and wrinkle, the forming cavity undergoes TD nano-coating and polishing treatment, with optimized pressure ribs and gap design, effectively improving stretching cracks and workpiece tearing defects. Suitable for forming kitchenware bowls and basins, motor housings, new energy aluminum shells, and automotive body panels. Multiple bending forming dies are shown in the photos, enabling complex bending at multiple angles and localized concave and convex forming.
(V) Large-Scale Heavy-Duty Stamping Dies
Large-size heavy-duty die frames are primarily used for thick plate and large-size sheet metal processing. They are used for structural components in engineering machinery, commercial vehicle beams, large equipment housings, and container parts. They can blank, form, and trim 8-12mm high-strength steel plates. The die frame is integrally cast and reinforced, with wear-resistant pads added to pressure-bearing parts to withstand long-term impacts from heavy-duty hydraulic presses. They are widely used in non-standard large-part stamping in the heavy industry.
Yituo Molds can process a wide range of sheet metals, including:
Cold-rolled steel, hot-rolled high-strength steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel 201/304, aluminum alloy, copper, pickled steel, and other various metal sheets. Based on the physical properties of different materials, mold steel, heat treatment processes, and cavity surface treatments are selected specifically to avoid common production problems such as sticking, tearing, and springback from the mold structure source.
Standardized Production Control Throughout the Entire Process
1. Initial Process and CAE Simulation Design: After the customer provides drawings or samples, the technical team uses UG and AutoForm software to complete product process breakdown and stamping simulation, predicting issues such as tensile cracking, springback, and dimensional deviations in advance, optimizing process layout, reducing rework during trial molding from the design stage, and shortening the mold delivery cycle. Customized process solutions are available for difficult-to-form materials such as high-strength steel and aluminum alloys.
2. Raw Material and Heat Treatment Control: The die base is uniformly made of HT300 high-strength cast iron to ensure long-term stamping without deformation. Cutting edges and forming inserts are made of die steels such as DC53, SKD11, and H13 as needed. Key wear-resistant areas undergo vacuum quenching treatment, achieving a hardness of HRC58~62, extending die life. The service life of conventional progressive dies can reach over 3 million strokes.
3. High-Precision CNC Machining: Equipped with a complete set of precision machining equipment including gantry machining centers, precision grinding machines, wire EDM, and EDM, the machining accuracy of die cavities and inserts is ±0.01mm. All parts undergo full-dimensional quality inspection before entering the assembly process, preventing the assembly of unqualified parts.
4. Assembly, Fitting, and Trial Molding: Technicians meticulously fit and adjust the die clearances. After assembly, the die is tested in sections on the machine, repeatedly adjusted until the sample dimensions and appearance meet all standards. A qualified sample is provided for customer confirmation. The die is shipped with an instruction manual and a list of vulnerable parts. V. Yituo's Five Core Advantages
Full-Category Customization:
From small electronic terminal molds to large heavy-duty plate molds, all categories can be customized. We recommend the optimal mold solution based on customer production capacity: single-process/composite molds for small batches, and progressive dies for large-scale mass production.
Modular Structure Design:
Easily worn inserts are designed with a split-mount structure. Later wear only requires replacement of the individual inserts, eliminating the need for whole-mold rework, reducing customer maintenance costs and downtime.
Excellent Yield Rate:
Utilizing CAE simulation to optimize processes, mass-produced products have a low defect rate, reducing raw material waste and helping customers reduce per-piece production costs.
Full Industry Coverage:
Products are compatible with seven major industries: automotive parts, home appliances and kitchenware, new energy vehicle battery, electronic hardware, rail transportation, construction machinery, and daily sheet metal.
One-Stop Full-Cycle Service:
From solution quotation → mold design → production and manufacturing → trial mold delivery → after-sales maintenance, we provide full-chain follow-up. We offer technical support throughout the mold usage process and a year-round supply of original factory easily worn parts.
